The 1820 census for Stratford shows Seth with two females under age 10. He was still in Stratford at the time of the 1830 census.

The Mohawk Courier reported that his property was being forclosed dated January 9, 1844.

By the time of the New York Census of 1855 he was living with his son, John G. Clark, in Carlton, Orleans County, NY. He was still there at the time of the 1860 federal census.

General Notes: Husband - Roger Williams

He was a minister who spent time in Plymouth and Salem, Massachusetts, before being excommunicated by the Massachusetts authorities for his religious views. He did not agree with the practice of early baptism. He went into exile in what is today Providence Rhode Island in 1636, where he bought land from the Indians. Ultimately, he founded Rhode Island, as well as Providence. He wrote extensively advocating freedom of religion, separation of church and state and was, also, against slavery. He was President of Rhodes Island from 1654-1657, after having obtained a charter from parliament in 1644. He, briefly, officially belonged to a Baptist church founded in Providence. See attached
